Who says you have to be a die-hard rugby fan in order to be able to enjoy the upcoming HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens in April? This annual rugby tournament happening in Singapore promises a fun weekend for all ages!

1. Meet DreamWorks characters
Sport Singapore and the Singapore Sports Hub are partnering with Dreamworks to bring about an interactive experience for the little ones during the Sevens weekend. Expect characters such as Toothless the Dragon, Shrek and even Po the KungFu Panda! But wait, there’s more - Poppy and Branch from DreamWorks franchise Trolls will be making a stage appearance as well!
2. Smash Mouth Concert
What better band than the legendary several-times platinum American band Smash Mouth to complete a Dreamworks-themed weekend? Look forward to hearing them sing their hit single All Star that was included in the movie Shrek back in 2001 and also other major hits like Can’t get Enough of You Baby, Walkin’ On the Sun, I’m a Believer, that will definitely get you swaying along with the crowd on Saturday.

Have a sing-along Sunday with the original cast from Broadway’s five-time Tony Award nominated musical Rock of Ages performing a set of 80’s rock classics by rock legends such as Bon Jovi, Whitesnake and Journey. It cannot get any more nostalgic than this.
Event organisers will be launching the exciting Singapore Sevens Splash Party as part of the event. This will take place next to Singapore Sports Hub’s Splash-N-Surf, where patrons are invited to get wet! What’s more, renowned local acts will serenade you as you splash and surf your way to a weekend of fun!

Feeling hungry after all that rugby sevens action? Fret not as there will be a wide spread of delightful cuisine that will be available at the stadium area. Tuck into sumptuous food as you take a break from the action and re-join it at your convenience.
