The first HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series men’s action since January certainly did not disappoint with thrilling matches, last minute victories and stunning tries on day one of the fifth round of the Series at the National Stadium in Singapore.

The team captains of the 2022 HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens experienced a taste of Singapore and gave a preview of their sporting prowess on Wednesday (6 April) ahead of the event this weekend, as they demonstrated their skills in popular traditional games five stones and chapteh.

The HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens 2022 will feature a full slate of 16 teams for the first time since 2019, including 2020 Series champion New Zealand and defending Singapore Sevens champions South Africa.
