To round off the Rugby World Cup 2019 and to get fans excited about the HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens on 11 and 12 April 2020, rugby enthusiasts and onlookers enjoyed a unique Sevens Parade on Saturday as part of the finals action.

Celebrating all things Sevens, the parade contingent featured five unique elements of Sevens, namely a seven-piece percussion band featuring the seven musical notes, the seven Wonders of the World, the seven dwarfs, the seven colours of the rainbow, and a group of seven rugby players.

The HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens Parade made its way around popular bars in Boat Quay and Clarke Quay filled with hyped up rugby fans, before completing the celebrations at the Rugby World Cup finals screening between England and South Africa at the OCBC Square, Singapore Sports Hub.

Following South Africa’s comprehensive 32-12 victory, the Sevens parade ended with a flash mob dancing to the tune of popular rugby anthem “Sweet Caroline”, reminding fans of the fun and excitement of the HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens.
